DTI Industry Dialogue Workshop
We are delighted to announce that the DTI is so keen to engage in a dialogue with the renewables industry and find a way to ensure on-site generation can reach its maximum potential, that they are sponsoring an event on the second day.
The purpose of the DTI sponsored workshop is to identify key conditions needed to ensure the on-site renewables industry can realise its full potential. The day starts with a plenary session where Rachel Crisp of the DTI will set out their Microgeneration Strategy. The day will then break out into technology specific work groups to identify market conditions, barriers and incentives to help push the industry forward. Facilitators will come from Faber Maunsell and the Centre for Sustainable Energy. At the end of the afternoon groups will report back to a full plenary session where the chair will pull together all strands to identify a way forward for both the industry and DTI.
So if you have strong views on the way forward and wish to be a part of the future for renewables, you really should come to this event.
Given DTI sponsorship and its wish to hold a dialogue with as wide a representation of industry as possible, delegate costs have been kept to a minimum and cover the cost of administration and registration alone.
Documentation will be sent out to all delegates a few days prior to the conference to give them time to prepare for sessions.
